Kevin Lovitz’ trademark is his aggressive, results-oriented approach to representation.  From sexual harassment, to race discrimination to wrongful discharge, Mr. Lovitz has litigated and successfully resolved hundreds of employment claims in his  career. 

Mr. Lovitz represents both employees and employers in employment disputes, and has litigated claims under Federal and State discrimination laws, including the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, (Title VII), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA).  In addition, Mr. Lovitz has handled breach of contract claims, non-compete litigation claims, claims for defamation of character, and has successfully negotiated hundreds of severance packages for his clients.

In 2005, the Legal Intelligencer honored Mr. Lovitz with a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” award. Mr. Lovitz has also been recognized in 2005 and 2006 as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer “Rising Star”.  In addition, Mr. Lovitz is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania.

In addition, Mr. Lovitz has appeared on television numerous times, including Law Journal TV and American Law Journal (CN8).

In 1990, Mr. Lovitz graduated from the University of Delaware Phi Beta Kappa ; where he received his Bachelor’s Degree cum laude.  He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law in 1993.  Mr. Lovitz is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania .  


Isaac F. Slepner, Associate

Isaac concentrates his practice in employment litigation matters, including workplace discrimination, state and federal agency hearings, and state and federal arbitrations. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining The Lovitz Law Firm, Isaac’s practice concentrated on consumer protection litigation, including mortgage and auto loan fraud litigation. Isaac is a graduate of Villanova Law School and Brandeis University, and is a lifelong Philadelphian. He is active with the Brandeis Law Society and the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association.


Hyman Lovitz, Of Counsel

Hyman Lovitz is of counsel to the Firm. He has been in the general practice of law for over 50 years and has litigated thousands of cases as a trial lawyer.  He is a graduate of the University of  Pennsylvania Wharton School and Temple University , Beasley School of Law and for the past twenty five years has dedicated his practice to the field of employments rights.

Mr. Lovitz was an associate editor of the Temple Law Quarterly and has authored numerous articles for the Philadelphia Lawyer and for the Philadelphia Legal Intelligencer focusing on employment law.  He is a member of the Investigative Division of the Judicial Selection Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association and is active in many civic associations.  He is a past president of the Associated Alumni of The Central High School of Philadelphia and is currently Chair of the Hall of Fame Committee.  He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Glaucoma Foundation at Wills Eye Hospital and is also active in Warrington Township politics.

Mr. Lovitz is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania and Federal Courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States and is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and has an AV peer review rating.

Linda brings over 30 years experience to The Lovitz Law Firm, having spent the first 18 years of her career working in the legal field providing support to attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including case preparation, discovery, trial preparation and trial.  She joined Mr. Lovitz’ practice in 2003, and since then has focused on all aspects of employment law and litigation.  Linda has extensive knowledge and experience in the filing Charges of Discrimination, the administrative procedures and processes of State and Federal Agencies, as well as case development and analysis.
